Materials: 42,925 cups (If the bottom layer is 50 x 50)

Artwork Description:
This installation is composed of thousands of identical paper cups, meticulously stacked to form a rectangular pyramid.
In everyday life, paper cups are consumed and discarded without thought. Here, through repetition and alignment, they are reborn as a unified structure. Each cup is light and fragile on its own, but together they embody order and balance, transforming into a presence that commands the space.
The rectangular pyramid form carries both an upward incline and vertical tension. As viewers follow the slope with their eyes, they encounter a silent flow and a sense of stillness.
Natural light touches the surface of the cups, casting shadows that suggest the passage of time. The wooden base gently bridges the divide between the artificial and the natural.
This work explores the relationship between abandonment and accumulation, consumption and existence—revealing a quiet beauty that emerges through repetition.
