Inspired by the ancient monument of Stonehenge, this artwork reimagines its iconic Sarsen Circle through the humble material of stacked paper cups. The original Sarsen uprights—massive stones arranged in a 30‑meter ring—were simplified into cylindrical forms and scaled down to a 15‑meter circle.

Thirty columns, each represented as a 1‑meter cylinder, are placed evenly around the circumference, with approximately 0.57 meters of space between them, echoing the rhythm and geometry of the prehistoric site.

Stonehenge carries deep historical and cultural significance: a place of ceremony, celestial alignment, and communal gathering for early societies. By distilling its structure into a minimal, modular form, this artwork reflects on how monumental architecture can be translated into everyday materials while still preserving its symbolic weight.
